If you ask anyone if fat is something they consider healthy, most would say no!
Fatty food has been avoided by people who are strict in maintaining a healthy diet because of its
close relation with obesity and heart diseases. What we don’t know is that there are certain types
of fat that are good for weight loss.
We have listed here some food that we can include in our diet.
Older studies showed that consuming eggs daily is harmful to our cholesterol count. On the
contrary, recent studies state that not only are they a rich source of protein, but they also contain
choline and vitamin B which help regulate the nervous and cardiovascular system. In fact, eggs
are now proven to help improve heart health!
When we say we’re on a diet, many would think that we only eat plant-based food. But we
shouldn’t ignore animal protein, especially beef and pork. Lean beef and pork are excellent
sources of protein, iron and zinc. So, we no longer have to deprive ourselves of our favorite meat!
We usually consider full-fat milk as unhealthy, but that’s not entirely true! Full-fat milk comes with
the full vitamins A and D which our body needs since these are fat-soluble. Actually, cooking using
full-fat milk is better than skim milk because the nutrients in full-fat milk do not evaporate in the
process of cooking. Also, did you know that you can gain more vitamins from full-fat dairy than
from low-fat or fat-free dairy?
This cheese has the highest content of bone-building calcium, providing our body more than what
it needs. High-fat food such as cheese is more helpful than destructive to our bodies because it
offers high quantities of vitamins.
Who says you can’t have a bit of fun when you’re on a diet? Dark chocolates are high in
antioxidants that help our body release the bad toxins. It also offers vitamins A, B and E, calcium,
iron, potassium, magnesium and flavonoids.
